Corners Joined and Rebar Installation

Corners joined with blocks stacked and leveled Block wall construction showing step up at the back Rebar installed in alternate cells with drain rock Greenhouse site with rebar installation progress

Another load of 20 blocks, and much stacking, leveling, and restacking, and the corners are joined! The step up at the back is to ensure that there is at least a 2 block stack at all points, to make it one contiguous structure.

Next is rebar in alternate cells. I'm using drain rock to hold the rebar in place, and avoiding the use of concrete to keep the structure more easily adjustable (thanks for the suggestion Tyrel!).

More Blocks and Buried Concrete

Picking up another load of blocks with Mark Excavating the inner trench Buried concrete wall discovered during excavation Cutting a passage through the concrete for blocks Moving the wall inward by half a block Wall adjusted to thread between concrete on either side

Picked up another load of blocks with help from Mark. Continuing to excavate the inner trench I discovered a buried concrete wall extending much of the length of the pad. So with help from Joseph and Alex we cut a passage for the blocks to pass. We also had to move the wall inward by half a block in order to thread between the concrete on either side and minimize required demolition. Cuttings are more than ready for this work to be finished. Aiming to be done by end of month!

Third Course and Inner Wall Trench

Third course of blocks added to outer long wall Outer wall leveled with third course Progress on the greenhouse site Third corner of the wall Trench for the inner long wall

Added a third course of blocks to the outer long wall to bring it level to the other side, and finish turning the third corner. Thank you Victor for helping dig out the final trench for the inner long wall!
